Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Deerstalkers Association Inc.

We are Wellington City's hunting club.

NZDA Wellington Branch was founded in 1950 and officially incorporated in 1959 as a branch of the NZDA. The NZDA was founded in 1939 for the advancement of hunting, bushcraft, shooting and the like. The NZDA advocates for recreational hunters.

We are focused on hunting and bringing Wellington's hunters together. As a Wellington branch member you will meet other local hunters and have lots of opportunities to discuss hunting and learn from experienced members. Great friendships are formed with like-minded hunters.

As a branch we provide facilities to members: club rooms, rifle range and backcountry huts. We officially Douglas Score heads. We have regular speakers at club nights, hold annual competitions (photographic, literature, film and trophy heads), and provide information about topics and issues that affect hunters both locally and nationally.

If you are interested to learn more, please get in touch or come to a club night.

Club Night - Non-members are very welcome
